My name is Cody Thomas. In a nutshell, after graduating from college last year, I spent a semester at seminary. However, I then felt like seminary wasn’t the place God wanted me to be at the time. So, I moved down to upstate South Carolina to be near my now fianceé. We’re planning on getting married next May and she’ll have a bit more college left, so we’ll be staying around the area for awhile. By the way, my fianceé, Kindel, is the greatest thing that has happened to me other than Jesus! I love her so much and can’t wait to start our own life together!

So, for now, I’m living in Liberty, SC, trying to find work, pay the bills, and, most of all, attempting to seek God in all of these life transitions. I’d love to serve as a worship pastor at a church with a passion to reach people far from God and a modern worship style (I’m not a fan of the term “contemporary worship”). It’s hard to find churches around this area with that combination of passion and style, and the ones that do have it aren’t hiring. Bummer. So who knows. I’m looking at possibly teaching guitar lessons at a local music store. I might be leading worship for some youth events and camps soon. I’m totally stoked about the possibility in that!
